Thats Tommy Emmanuel on the drums. Agree with ubernaffa. I think it is pretty clear that with different ages,styles and different influences on them that as guitarists it can be said with certainty Lady Bird Johnson was better than Socrates(At least for fast runs) I think most of us will agree that Bugs Bunny had the potential to be a virtuoso guitarist in the classical sense if it wasn't for the fact that he' just a cartoon character.

If you prefer musicians such as Steve Vai, Michael Hedges, or whoever, that's fine. But you CANNOT say one is better than the other. It's unquantifiable.

This is ridiculous. It seems 90% of videos of guitarists end up being spammed with "blah blah is better" etc. It's just pointless and is a chore to read. If you're going to post a comment that's negative, at least make it constructive. Richard Smith is a phenomenal guitarist, there is NO doubt about that. If you do not enjoy his music, then that's entirely up to you. But you cannot say that he's bad.
