Sounds like to me the dude should have tried to have told you a long time ago. It is amazing how a song can tell a peson everything that they want to say to you but are scared to say it. Maybe things would have been different if you was told this back then. The way you posted sounds like you cared also.

im like timothy32, i got a girl that is one of my bestfriends and i have feelin's for her but im scared if i tell her how i feel i will lose her as a friend, her and her boyfriend just broke, and i love her more than words can say but im just scared, if she would give me one chance to show her that im not like that jerk she was with, and i would love her forever. she is the only girl i can see me havin a future with.
