Mainly because it wasn't a question. I think I see your point, but still. Our imperfections make us who we are. Without evil, without suffering we would not appreciate good and health and joy. You need that contrast, that balance, ying and yang, ect.

I missed out a word there, it's meant to say; 'I have READ the Bible, though you assume I haven't, and I did not like what i found there'. And also, Onthefritzblitz, I always capitalize 'God' because otherwise small-minded people take offense. And just to be clear, God is the name of the entity, and name's have capital letters. I do it out of no respect for the entity.

Onthefritzblitz, I was forced in Catholicism as a young child and, despite many efforts to try and forget, I can still recite many verses from heart. I don't appreciate you thinking that you know me well enough to tell me what I should and shouldn't do. I have the Bible, though you assume I haven't, and I did not like what I found there. So I chose my own religion - Buddhism - you didn't even ask what religion I belong to, you assumed that I was atheist. Don't assume things. Peace.
