Hi, I believe it was made in 1966. The words went something like this, with a backround of gunshots: People are standing all aroundAt a shotgun wedding here in this townAnd I'm the victim of a shotgun wedding Her father's got the gun, and I've got no place to run ooo ooo shotgun...A jolly tune I remember from my youth!!Hope that helps a little.

About Shotgun wedding.I remember the song, but not the artist. I grew up in a West Indian enclave in Leicester (UK) in the 60/70's. So what?, you say. I'm White. And I know my Dub from my Ska.I may catch hell for this, but YT is not the only video archive on the net. try searching the "Revolver" record archives.

This was a modern version of a classic piece called 'Elizabethan Serenade' but I can't remember who wrote the original.
