I kinda ment the average person(sorry!),it would be dumb to say its a pointless vehicle.. I honestly can't think of a european company that makes pick-ups; why would we need them? You represent the very small minority that has any need for a pickup.So your right Aaron and you do see trucks in the UK (toyota mainly) for very specific roles. Mark,the word is built & the UK has roads better roads than the average in the US in my experience(an unfair comparison considering the size of the US really)

Whell it goes the same with cars: European cars are better quality so you don't really need a new one for a long time (unless if you're fed up with it.)

Whell what he is talking about is why people don't buy it in Europe. In Europe you don't need to get wood by yourself cos you'll get it at the local building materials store and for burning we use gas. For all sorts of commercial transport we just use regular trucks or for small things vans, distances are small so you won't be driving half emty for long -> noone wants the inconvenience of a pick-up truck to a normal car if you can get it delivered by someone else for little money.

40k-45k that doesn't have a 4 wheel drive system is rubbish, I agree that I would rather get a used rs6 or m3 or a used rover

You have no idea of what you're talking about do you Tricky? not to insult you but you obviously don't know a thing about living in NA, I use my truck everyday for work, I carry a full 8 foot box full of tools, really I don't understand how anything get done over there without trucks, I need it to get over terrain and I need it for hauling, how do you guys build anything???? oh wait everything was build 500 years ago.

I think you are wrong on the pointlessness of a pickup truck(the SVT lightning is, yes, a sad excuse for a pickup). I have a 1988 Ram 250 and I use it all the time, and the thing I use it for no European car can close to doing. I would like to see a European car or truck carry 3,000 pounds of wood or dirt or carry a heavy duty engine lift or a 700 pound commercial lawn mower. These are things that you need a truck not a car or SUV.

...Person in the US does not have any need for a vehicle like this what-so-ever.I guess what I am saying is that this isn't a slur against America (he didn't use the word 'fat' once, which is good for him...)just a damning criticism of a truely pointless car. Europe produces the worlds best cars.Full Stop. Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari, Mercs, Lambo, any car that the US produces there is a better European version, its not an insult but a fact.. (oh and the new mini is NOT English its BMW.)
