Ahh, yes, the Infamous "Tritone Scale"...the Signature Sound of old Johann...(Ahem)Perhaps a Diminished Scale? Or a Tritone. (Diabolus in Musica) For which you could be Burned by the Inquisition. ah yah I watched a show on it and saw a genuine reproduction. Pretty neat. I also saw a modernized one with a silent electric motor. the whole unit was relatively small.
