Go over a bump in an old peugeot and things fall off - you can't get them back on. Hit my 205 with a baseball bat and it would fall apart like a clown car.

These really are super well built cars! Unfortunately since they have long been used there are many out ther that were not taken care of properly, if you can find a well taken care of w124 it is an amazing car! I had an E320 that was a brilliant ride, I'm on the look out for anither w124!

They are not problematic at all. I never have problems with the both of mine - maintenance is the key. ;)

my girlfriend's 94 e320 is not exactly a "tough" old merc. it's a cool grand everytime we take it in for repair. frankly, it's problematic. when it's running well it's like magic but when it's not, it's a bitch. |
