every time he raised his spear, the thought must've played across his not insubstantial brain that..'maybe I'm killing a potential girlfriend.....?'

Daniel Defoe's metaphor for social and spiritual isolation....but what does Man Friday represent.....?...it was either this or Richie Benaud commentating on the cricket on daytime '70's British TV.....

I can still whistle this tune from beginning to end,I must of watched the series throughout its first run and many repeats so often,it reminds me of great times as a boy without a care in the world.

Phyllis EagleTree in Kentucky enjoyed it quite a bit. Thanks for directing me to it. As a child I would explore the streams that fed into the lake, and I would always be looking for caves and waterfalls (I found some regularly.) I imagined myself to be an explorer that had to survive and continue to explore new territory.
