It's events like the Katrina gun confiscation that gives government a bad name. This is clearly an act of tyranny. The policemen that voluntarily participated in confiscating guns from law abiding citizens are no better than Hitlers jack booted thugs.

these were not local police. They were police forces brought in from California to assist in securing the area... No wonder they had no sense of the constitution! This is a perfectly good example of why you always harness a weapon on your hip... if they try and take your weapons, let them know that if they attempt to cease your property without a warrant, that they had better be prepared to kill you! That wont look too pretty on the 6 o'clock news!Fight back! Defend yourselves!

What kills people is laws restricting gun ownership. The cities that are the most restrictive about guns have the highest crime rate--like DC.Now Switzerland--EVERYONE owns a gun (just about) and the crime rate is extremely low.Gun laws don't matter to criminals.

This is just a taste of what will happen when the shit realy hits the fan. This government will turn on us in an instant and it doens't matter if U are the safest person with a gun or not, you won't be able to have on for fear of fighting back. Sickening that this was allowed to happen. They violated everyones rights.

This poor lady...the local police were real bullies. So, after a natural disaster, the 2nd Amendment is repealed? I think not.
