My dear old granny tortured me by making me sing "Oh for the Wings" The only torture was that she promised me ballet lessons if I sang it. Once I had done so, the lessons were withdrawn!

Master Ernest Lough's voice on record was part of my childhood.Envious I couldn't quite get up there with perfect pitch!This is the church where Victoria de los Angeles recorded some of her baroque and religious pieces in 1964.On my site.I visited Temple Church a few years ago.

I remember this documentary being shown on Ch 4 one Sunday many years ago. I think it was called "The Boy Who Sang 'Oh For The Wings Of A Dove'." Thanks for putting this up so I can watch it again.

Great, thanks for all your interesting videos. I really like documtentarys and didn't know anything about Lough and his famous recording...It really sounds perfect (modern), even today...
