This song is so far ahead of it's time and it states the condition of where hip hop has gone too. The content is relevant and it speaks clearly of what is being played on the TV and radio it's not the real hip hop just "Mass Appeal" and the overplayed commercialism of mainstream music. I have this album on cassette tape and it's still a banging classic. Take notes this is for the true heads only not the ones who think they know what real hip hop is. i was born in 1990 and I started listening to hip hop @ 3 or 4 yrs old. I miss this type of hip hop, this song was one of my favorities back then and it still is. Why cant hip hop be great again like it was in the 80's and 90's?
