The song you are looking for was written by Jackson C Franks a now deceased American singer songwriter Sandy had a love affair with in sixties England. The album he recorded of all his songs called Blues Run The Game produced by Paul Simon is obscure but may be available on CD. (I have a copy) You will find the song there along with some other great songs including the title track. Jackson was one of those unknown greats IMHO

Amazing! Sandy was too good for this bitter vale of tears.

Why do the good ones almost all die young? Hauntingly beautiful.

I'm so grateful this footage exists and especially that she played Late November. A great artist, her voice is unforgetable. |
