Not a AFR gauge or it would be going lean (right) when he was off the gas, instead it goes left. It is a load gauge.

If you are meaning that one in the middle, it shows actually the throttle response, full acceleration is red on the right side, braking, is red on the left, and he drives with middle gas by breaking, you can also hear it...
