Hellz Yeah! What's wrong with today's kids? We need an all 80s-90s toon channel on TV soon so kids today can see what REAL cartoons were like for us.

I totally agree with this statement. 80's cartoon themes really get you excited for the show! Remember the intros to BIONIC SIX, VISIONARIES, M.A.S.K., SPIRAL ZONE, etc? Those beginnings really got me pumped! Even "cute" cartoons had intros that made me excited: THE LITTLES, BEVERLY HILLS TEENS, etc. Nowadays kid's shows don't have great beginnings. I think MIGHTY MORPHIN' POWER RANGERS was the last good one.

I was very curious by your statement. I had never heard of GETTER ROBO so I researched it on the Wiki and found the show's openning on YouTube. Yes, you are correct. Both the Orbot's theme and the Getter theme start off very similarly. Were the Orbot's composers inspired by the Getter song? I guess we'll never know.

My favorite Orbots were the shapeshifting one and the fat one.

This further proves my point that 80s carton themes got U pumped 4 tha show! A lotta shows today don't do dat.

Love Orbots? Then check out the anime that it was based on, God Mars. It's kick ass and it's like Orbots but more adult themed.

My wife has a theory that the same guy sung all of those songs to the cartoons in the 80's

I have to agree with you there. I also hope there are no stupid goofy characters like The Batman. By the way, did you know that Thundercats is out on DVD? |
