I just realized...he called the Snowbirds the 'Snowboards' during the delta break out..so..add in the no smoke and the slightly uneven break, I think their chance to show all the teams their the new maunever was a bit of an epic fail.

Face it, if they are starting to have this many issues I'm only in college ROTC but I think its safe to say its time for them to upgrade to E-Hornets, they have had the A/C hornet for over 20 years, thats a helluva lot of stress to be putting on those jets, I know they have a reputation of never cancelling a show due to maintenance but if they don't switch soon, it may occur

the f-18 is a great aircraft...next to the f-15maintenance isn't horrible on either one.

yeah thats very true i still cant believe one of the 8 planes they have is 18 years old, thats a fucking old plane man! crazy!

Yep I got what you were saying. My point was that isnt it great they get to go to work, fly, beat the hell out of the jet and get it fixed for them. I wish my job I could beat up somethng over a million bucks.

Well yes they have problems with the Solo jets. Keep in mind the solos are very hard on them. So if one of them goes down for mechanical issues they then take the 4 jet and move the 7 jet into the slot.

number 4 and number 6 both have had problems with there aircraft. at the airshow here in seattle they had a problem with 6 both days and the year before it was 4 that had the problem
