400-600 miles? u gotta be kidding me this is stupid. well that range would only be good if the airplane was pretty small so this idea sucks.

Hindenburg was filled with Hydrogen not Helium. That is why Helium is used now in lieu of the highly flammable Hydrogen.

Helium + heat = bad idea. See also Hindenburg Disaster.

This is a very stupid idea who the hell thought of this. All it is, is 2 blimps with wings and ever thought how much it would cost to fill the thing with helium. Why not spend some time thinking about advance technology to power a plane rather than useing the idea that Leonardo Da Vinchi would of came up with hundreds of years ago. By the way don't we have something close to this idea; like the dude who tied a bunch of weather balloons to his lawn chair. Ya he flew

No...no...no...nooooooooo....I will never fly in another plane if they use this idea.
JoinkenS92 (August 15, 2008 at 5:08 pm)
The concept seem like an bad idea and expensive. This is not the future of aviation! |
