I think if you look into it, you'll find the pontiac GTO is an Australian car re-badged for the US market. Granted, they do use a GM crate motor, but they are definately Australian. Image search "Holden Monaro" or "HSV Coupe". Then search "Holden Commodore" or "HSV Clubsport" and see all the 4 door versions. Without that ugly pontiac front bar, they're actually a pretty good looking car, especially the new "VE HSV" range. 300+ kW standard too! Can't wait for the new 427ci version.
