This song just screams "Heaven up Here" era Echo and the B-men to me. Beth's vocal timing mimics Ian McCulloch, the keyboard tone is different but the basic approach is similar and the angular guitar guitar work could be Will Sargent. Oh, an I love it. This and everything else on Third. Yes, you will want to actually own this album. I suggest checking out this show and Coachella as well.

Sounds so much like Silver Apples. I think that's cool though, maybe this will get more people into Silver Apples, a great and mostly ignored group.
