im not good with tvs and i googled it and cant find anything but please can some one explain to me the difference between a 1920x1080p tv vs a 30in 2560x1600 tv resolution. i know what progressive is but i want to know which is better to buy.

WHAAATT THERE IS STILL GONNA BE SD....it going to DIGITAL not HD!!!!....To everybody that is thinking of getting a HDTV just for the sole reason that you think you have to by next year think again..if you have ANY PAY TV PROVIDER...ie DISH NET DIRECT TV...COM CAST UVerse....cox cable Timewarner .....NOw if you want a hd tv because they awesome by all means get it....BE dont be Fooled

ya i think like if your tv is going out of date some company like sticks in some chip and updates everything.

i have that to play my ps3 and watch blueray on it and it looks reaaaally good. n - n and its a lot cheaper than sony or panasonic tvs, recomend it. anywho peaceeee

I think Sears sells it for about $1000. If you want higher contrast ratios, you gotta pay a lot more for another brand. I think Sony was up to 25,000 to 1 on a larger set, but the price was more than double of this unit.

Cable sucks for many people and some want to get their local channels OTA for a better picture, if possible. Well, they'd need two RF inputs if they don't have a digital box on their cable (component or HDMI out). One RF input for coax cable (with QAM tuner for free local DTV/HD channels) and one for coax roof antenna/rabbit ears. With only one RF input, the TV has to rescan for channels everytime you switch between OTA or cable if you use an RF A-B switch (PITA). |
