Young kids nowadays don't know what real talent is. Judy was great. Barbra Streisand is still living and most kids only know Streisand from Meet the Focker movie. It's a shame. What makes me mad is they don't even want to listen to a barbra or judy CD or watch a DVD. Miley Cyrus has no talent!

I'd have to say it was a self-esteem issue Judy had. Plus, her mind could've been altered a bit from all the drugs she was taking that early in her life, having to live up to her mother's extremely high expectations of her. The death of her much beloved father certainly didn't help. I'd say looks did matter as far as getting into movies was concerned at the time, and Judy was gorgeous, or else the studios wouldn't have wanted her, whether her voice was great or not. Biased people ruled the show.

hi... this was not really directed to you actually... i just don't understand how come we talk about her or family guy while commenting on a video about Judy garland... there was no offense or attack intended ;)-my english sometimes is a bit confused, can't get it quite right!lol

I don't believe you got the point. What I was saying was that anything Judy Garland ever did (aside from her notorious drug and alcohol use) amounts far more than anything Paris Hilton could in her life. Granted. I do agree with your stance, as everyone else does, that "Judy is one of the greatest, as very few can compare!" If I want to say something shameful about Paris Hilton, as one ought to, I would have to remove Jesus from the room, because I wouldn't have a nice thing to say about Paris.
