His two main guitars were the Danelectro DC-59, and the Fender Telecaster/Esquire. He was also known to occasionally use a Fender Stratocaster but theres no footage of this, just pictures. He also used a Fender Jaguar once at a gig as well as a Yamaha 12 string acoustic guitar for Jugband Blues.

The original version was intended to be played in quadraphonic. You had to play two records at once by lining up the click track on the special edition intro. People on acid lost it big time. Spinning around. Fantastic!

Honest mistake, guys, considering electric Silvertone's were made by Danelectro for the Sears and Roebuck Company. Actually you can catch a few quick glimpses in the video of Syd's famous mirrored Telecaster.
