oh yah another loose gem out there... like breakaway... ric has such a knack for making simple lines seem natural, hypnotic, haunting, inspirational and memorable all at once.. and if it seems oh too familiar -- trademark ric ocasek, so what.. there's a depth to it that means it never feels stale... just a great song.. thanks for posting

Well actually it technically has been released because it was available on the soundtrack album. Although I'm not sure if that recording was transferred on to CD or not. But I'm sure you can still find the original album on E-Bay or at Amazon.

This is actually from the "King Of Comedy" soundtrack. I remember hearing this on a cool radio station from Dekalb, Illinois. By 1984 it had been usurped by corporate bozos & changed its format to "all hits" {i know, it makes you just want to throw up}. Anyway, thanks for posting this great obscure song! |
