and bishop: you can control the parachute. it acts like a glider. the guy was obviously either overwhelmed with adrenaline/shock/disorientation, or just and idiot. he could have avoided the power lines.

If I go skydiving I'm going to practice in one of those wind tunnels so if anything happens like this guy I wonn't be flailing around. I thought you could control the parachute? Like some guy said he just went straight into them.

not really. my cousin goes skydiving all the time, and there's people who make a living off of it. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't even be legal if everyone died from it. |
