Yea he was. In the book it says that at 13yrs old, he invited some strangers from his building into his house to view some music equipment he had stolen with his friends (his first time doing this kinda thing), they stole his stuff, one came back later to return it and raped him. At 16yrs old, Chris got revenge on the guy by waiting outside a pub that the guy had entered, and after exiting, beating him with a brick (I think it was).

i read the BOOK, is better then the movie and different, the movie add some thing that didn't happend. But the story is amazing!
