Huracanes en Yucatán

Este video condensa todos los huracanes que han afectado al Estado y además de alguna forma dañado a la Ciudad de Mérida que desafortunádamente por su situación geográfica se encuentra al paso de estos grandes fenómenos ya que muchos tenemos la creencia falsa de que no nos afectan debido a períodos que se pueden extender de 15 a 20 años sin impactos directos. El centro del huracán debe de pasar a por lo menos 64 km de distancia para considerarse un impacto directo debido al radio mínimo natural de vientos huracanados(puede variar según intensidad del meteoro y ubicación con respecto al ojo). Se vienen tomando registros desde la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y en aquella época por cuestiones tecnológicas era imposible darle un seguimiento exacto a los mismos, sólo se registraban los que tocaban tierra en lugares poblados o que pasaran por las rutas de los barcos oceanográficos.Me dediqué a investigar con que frecuencia afectan a nuestra Ciudad ya que son datos pocas veces publicados y la gran mayoría sólo podemos recordar 2 ó 3 que cumplan esas características.Además se muestran las trayectorias dominantes por cada mes de la temporada, algo útil para efectos comparativos o como modelos en caso de estar en situación de amenaza.
