ok... he said it was a completer tear on my tibiofibular ligament, and a slight bone fracture. he tested my ankle strength, told me to push my toes to dif direction while he added pressure. he pressed my ankles and what not. But he told me i didn't need any surgery. and for rehab, i can start when ever im ready. all i have to do is call them and get my referral. im not sure how this works.. complete tear and no surgery?

Your ortho will tell you if you need surgery. One of the questions that I would ask is how bad is it torn? Is it completely torn? A partial tear will probably not require surgery. I would ask the ortho doc how long he realistically expects it will take to get ready for rehab. What he tells you will probably be based on your age and situation. Make sure you let him know that you want to do whatever is necessary to get better as fast as possible.Let me know how it goes.

in my opinion.... this does work. i've gained flexibility, strength and balance back quicker than i have expected... to bad i JUST found out its torn... when i think about it, i can do all this and somethings torn inside.(not trying to advertise) or say its thanks to the program, i have to visit the doc first.

I twisted my anckle about 2 months ago, after three weeks I came back to playing soccer as usual (I had this before few times) only that this time it does not get batter after a certain point, I cannot sprint and when I go down stairs and lean on my right foot it hurts at the joint. I am not looking for fast healing... healing and play normally again would feel like being born again, would this program help?

If you can wait until you go full speed, its always better. The program gives people who don't or can't afford to miss something important a chance to do what they want. Thanks for your positive comment. I'm glad that you had good results.

Athletic trainers or doctors can do a test called a drawer test. It has to do with the normal "slop" in the ankle joint vs what the "slop" is in an injured ankle. I really hate to tell you this, but often the only way to tell is an MRI or a really sharp doctor who knows what your ligaments are supposed to feel like. If you are uncertain, its worth a trip to the doctor to make sure.
