It most likely is possible that Doctors and Lawyers are nothing more than WCB Whores. I find most professionals who hang out within their own peer groups have NO shame, after all we are nothing more than a comodity in their eyes. But the bottomline the blame rest with the political parties, they hold the vote and the power to resind the WCB Act . Wayne has alway said that the political parties are the real abusers .

you have a lot of good points wayne.very good question on why docs or lawy take a stand, im sure their excuses would vary but,did you ever hear of persumptious status it states that wcb has to prove ones injury isnt work related rather than the worker proving it is.not sure on your situation if you have a group of people you represent but i know of a group in nfld that started up family alliance to represent injured workers.

Why should injured workers be forced to defend themselves against a law that should be removed from the books , because it is a Bad Faith Law and a law that not only abuses the injured worker, but the children. The WCB Legislation should not be. I would like to suggest that injured workers picket in front of every Department of Labour Office in Canada ... this vile Bad Faith Legislation falls on this Departments watch , they own it.

Wayne, having represented thousands (yes, that's right - thousands) of injured workers, the common theme is that, once injured their focus is on dealing with their pain, doctors, lawyers, hostile insurance companies, even more hostile employers, foreclosure by the bank, job uncertainty, divorce/seperation etc etc etc. Injured workers are NOT cowards, they are brave people trying to do the best for themselves & their loved ones. It's the rest of the population who should take notice and help.

These government legislated Boards are an international abuse process headed up by "Thugs" from the business community. These Workers Compensation Boards/ WorkCover programs are recognised internationally for "their" abuse of power and breach of HUMAN RIGHTS" , therefore I would think that if injured workers from around the world wanted to come together , they could have the International Human Rights Commission investigate them.

In my Aust. state (Victoria) WorkCover used to be known as WorkCare. The name was changed because the government and those bastards in big business stopped "Caring". My life's work is to represent injured workers and all I can say to you is that I FEEL YOUR PAIN. I know about an injured worker's permanent physical and psychological pain. Why is it there? Often because greedy employers never give a sh*t about an inconvenient obligation called "safety". So keep fighting Wayne.

Since learning that Brian Mulroney's partners in crime are all connected to Nova Scotia, WE've been reading about Nova Scotia and I agree it really does sound like it's as corrupt as you say it is. Imagine how unfairly treated injured workers really are treated in Nova Scotia. Man, it's gotta be hard on them and their families. Corruption runs deep and wide, protected by criinals connected to government, is why WCB gets away with what they do. Keep-up getting the word out on NS and WCB!

Buchanan, Mulroney began setting up corrupt courts during the 1980's, to protect themselves and later with Dingwall to be used as a weapon against innocent people/families who reported the unethical-illegal medical research abuses.
