I know that. I'm not blind dude. I just wrote in that last comment that you SHOULD have 5 horns in an orchestra. Even though the assistant doesnt get much playing time, you need that help when the principal gets tired. I know from experience. It SUCKS when your lip needs like a minute of break and you have no one to cover your part.

they have five horns look at 2:34 and they have five while the princepal is resting.

i played the double bass, when out 3 counties orchestra did it. We were right by the trombones and french Horns, In the catacoumbs and Le Grande Port de Kiev, i got shivers all the way through! It was an amazing experience =D

I think they need 3 bassoons and 5 horns. You need that 5th Horn (assistant) to give more meat to the sound when you need it... and also to give the principal horn a break. Anyways, 5 Horns are the standard instrumentation in almost every orchestra. (depending on the piece)
