The mac click track idea sounds good, I take it any song with tempo changes you can't play with click live. When it comes to metal I think most people are obsessed by the speed, like overly so, like in Funk etc you don't get people amazing over footspeed etc.Still is impressive you can play that speed tightly.

My metronome doesn't have such feature, or if it has... I don't know how to use it. But I'm planning to collaborate my Mac/sequencer with my playing, first I have to learn how to do/edit click tracks... Really the tempo doesn't matter so much for me, but for some reason people wanna see/hear me go over 200bpm. I think I enjoy being waaay below that honestly.

Couldn't you program a click track before the show? Guess thats effort though. Timing sounds good to me, then again I was in the circle pit so was focusing on the timing so much :pHaha personally I love playing metal songs that are about 160 - 200bpm, it gives the parts space to breath a little than say something at 260. Also because my footwork is nowhere good enough to hit anything in 16ths at 260 :p

Yeah I understand bro. I luv to play Davidian live, it really kicks ass. But it's sad that we couldn't play it with a metronome due to it's changing tempos... and I'm really too overactive to play songs that are under 200bpm live haha! ;)
