Richard Desjardins est venu présenter son film aux Innus montagnais de Maliotenam en juin 1999. Vous dire que l'éclairage de la salle était atroce serait un euphémisme. J'ai enregistré la présentation du documentaire par son auteur en me disant que faute d'image montrable, il m'en resterait au moins une trace sonore. C'est à peu près le cas. Je vous livre une version écourtée de l'événement en me disant que les poètes de son envergure, ça s'écoute très bien les yeux fermés.
