I do agree with you, his voice is still awesome! However, I prefer his singing in a lower range, it sounds deeper. I'm not fond of high pitched voices, although Ryuichi can get away with it. And during this song he showed that he's still got it!

Despite the fact that a vocalist's voice usually changes over the years, I think his voice is still awesome.

I like the old version better, Ryuichi sang in lower voice, and more powerfull, more hardcore back than. But aside these differences this song is still one of the greatest ever written by them.
