To Strandelin: You're both right and wrong. Lapland is mainly called "Lappi" in Finland, but the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland calls it "Lappland" just like you do in Sweden. Perhaps one should talk about the Swedish and the Finnish Lapland just to distinguish the geographical area in speech. It's seems to be quite easy to get them mixed up with each other even though one would live here in one of these northern countries. Wikipedia might even be of help in these kinds of uncertainties.

Go and learn your geography, man. Sweden DOES reach the Arctic Circle. And Lapland lies at least in Sweden and Finland.
