he is just too good. how many times have i watched his matches where commentators will point out 3 different ways to make a shot or a safety. Then "Bata" walks up to the table and shoot it differently from any of what everyone else expected. simply great! GOAT!

it is not a clean run-out like you want it to be nut because he isn't great but because he does such things on purpose. Don't you see him smile every time his shot isn't as "clean" as he wanted. He often scratches his head and then pockets the next shot with no problem at all. He's too bored playing against his opponents that he tries to make it exciting by making difficult shots. No one knows how to do a kick safety before he entered the scene.

It looks as though he was trying to make the nine and get the snooker on the one, so if he makes the shot it's good, and if he misses it's safe, but he misjudged it. He hit the nine just on the wrong side, as he caught the one too thick. If he'd hit the one ball thinner the shot was on to make the nine, and the one would have been hidden behind the 7/8.

yah, i think that's one of d most thrilling match i had seen..it was indeed wpc, not sure about d yr though but i think it was d yr he won(99?)i remember the hometown crowd went wild when jimmy put up an incredible shot but efren countered it quickly hitting an almost impossible shot..the crowd was stunned!

1996? Jim Rempe was still playing really well. listen to the commentators(Nick Varner?), Rempe came back after being down early, against THAT guy, thats a feat unto itself.
