I know that you cannot compare a SmartPhone to a "dumbphone" BUT, if you look around YouTube many Voyager users claim "faster" internet. Which is complete bullshit.

You are actually comparing apples to oranges (no pun intended). The iPhone is technically considered a smartphone, whereas the Voyager is not. Therefore, the OS's of the two phones are completely different the only way to fairly test this is to tether both phones and test the Internet connection that way.Plus, you are comparing two different cell technologies and two different generations of cell technology. EV-DO is a 3G derivative of CDMA and EDGE is a 2.75G derivative of GSM. |
