Surely the burden to prove something lies with those that claim it exists. You can't prove that the Earth's core isn't made of New Orleans whiskey, that doesn't make it so. I can't prove there isn't a God, but I shouldn't have to. I'm not the one making him up.

Listen I will be the first to admit that the bible shouldn't be translated literally. And that Christ was just a man. However, I still believe in God or a concept of a God based on rational thought. I also subscribe to the morals of the New Testament. I can't prove there is a God, but you can't prove there isn't.

Every founding claim of your bible has been debunked though. If Genesis isn't literal than there is no literal foundation for the power of this god idea you worship.Simple as that.
