actually, one handing a block is pretty normal, one handing 8 inch, 10 heavy's and 12 lightweights is very common around here.

Harldy anyone would know this: The scafold he is working off is a Gilbreth Scaffold. That is Frank Gilbreth a time a motion expert from the early 1900s. Very good blocklayer this guy, notice the minumium number of movements, that is a Gilbreth thing too!

You can use pre-mix, but it will cost you alot of extra money and hassle, its intended for smaller jobs..not a house. Just find some good motor sand(fine), type s motor and a mixer. I 78lb bag of motor, approx. 23-25 shovels of sand and approx 8-10 gals of water depending on how moist the sand is. Hope this helps!

Must have had some extra bond beams. Alot of people tend to butter up both ends of blocks, ive always found it to be a wast of time. Good skill though.
