Ha ha guys try not be so racist (a term for those who only like one brand).Those Capri's are sweet looking cars, down is Aus there's quite a few drad racers that have dumped Ford 351's or Chev 30's into em going through a Ford nine inch diff. They do extremely quick quarter mile times in that guise.A car is a car, you canmake anything quick if you spend enough.

Right coming from an Aussie to a (clearly bogan) Aussie, go pick up a newspaper and see if you can learn something cause heres the bombshell - BOTH HOLDEN AND FORD ARE OWNED BY AMERICAN COMPANIES. Therefore how can someone choose a more "Australian" brand when they're both yank owned but Aussie designed. Bloody VN drivers.

To be honest its down to opinion judging by your comment you think have a stupidly big 5.7 v8 is going to get you rocketing along ive driven the capri and its fun to drive but most v8s dont pick up until you reach 2 - 3 then the power just goes so depends but the 2.0l is a brillient engine for its time.

Yes but the Capri has only got a 2 litre cossie lump in were as the Holden has 5.7, and is no were to be seen! Brits rule!
