they were in a flat spin and probably couldn't overcome the g's to reach the handle. and i'm pretty sure both seats are wired to eject within a few seconds of each other, so the pilot pulling would have sent the backseater as well and vice versa.

Long time span before the "Oh I think my wing has been knocked of by a jolly big bomb " to the conclusion " I say old chap , were going in , perhaps we should bail out !" seriously the pilot was waiting for his passenger cameraman\techie to punch out go before he ejected, a very brave man indeed !Question!If you were the pilot would you have waited ?

Maybe your the idiot here. But of course, even though it was a freak accident, by your logic it's the pilots fault. It's his fault that the pylon that held the bomb to the plane detatched when it wasen't supposed to, and it's also the pilots fault that a it actually hit the other plane which was a bout a 1/1000000 chance.

Even if this one was an accident, it certainly is a very interesting way to bring down another plane. Imagine trying to do this when you're out of ammo and air-to-air missiles.
