mccarterphoto has a point there, as well as drakhl does. Don´t ever believe in the sounds of a Youtube mg-camera, because they propably never had mikes on them planes in the first place!I mean it is all full of crap, audiovisual and all. Please do not get me all wrong.

Don't go by the audio in newsreel films from this era; most of these were dubbed in the studio long after the footage was shot. Synch sound was a cumbersome process back in the day; most wartime guys shot 16mm with no audio.

I was just thinking about that myself. The end of that video sounded like mostly MG17 fire and it was passing relatively slowly towards the plane, with some smattering of 20mm. Very possibly a BF110 or an early model 109 (E, F). The MGFF/151 would take anywhere between 15-20 rounds on a B17, while the Motorkanon MK 108 should take about 3-5 yeah. If a 262 could score good hits that plane would implode within a second. Even a 109G or K could inflict that damage with the central mounted MK 108.

ME262 is elite plane in WWII,but it's too late,if it can used before middle of 1943 but not 1944,the B17,B24,lankaisite bomb plane can't bomb german mil and city freely and german have no enough oil and training for luffwaffe eqiupmented with ME262,so some fresh drive the best plane to fighting with a airforce who have a supply of5000 a month

The 30 mm MK108 automatic cannon shot down a four engined bomber with only about three hits, and the Me-262 had four of these weapons. In the end of this video a B-17 gets multiple small hits, apparently by 20 mm shells, so the accuracy of this documentary is a bit this and that.I mean if the ending was supposed to be about an Me-262 against a B-17, that is.Damn great vid though!

The really tragic thing here, in terms of allied policies towards Nazis, is that the Allies (in particular the US) were prepared to give asylum to Nazi party members....so lang as they helped them with their intercontinental ballistic missile program. Nazi sympathisers??? They obviously forgave and forgot rather quickly. A truly sick reality.

I dont think we really need to spell out what a Nazi was (is?), and what their policy was. The lengths Chamberlain went to to appease the mass murderer and Jew hater were nauseating. The Nazis attempted to terrorise and flatten anyone who opposed them. Had we armed properly we might have been able to stop theem overrunning France. Our only possible response after our failure there was to use aerial warfare. Anyone who oppses that is therefore Nazi sympathiser. Some on this site are just that.
