i got that. Sure french for example has much more melody in it, but german can sound pretty beautiful too. Did you try reading Rilke for example? another point is that neither one of the three tenors' pronounciation is too good.

well. if you take a look at the story of the standchen story the way Carreras sings is the correct way. Standchen is appealing to his lover under over a window and a moon. just imagine how he will sing to his lover
