In regards to my last post about the spankings being traumatic- she still carries the trauma with her. NOTICE THAT AT 4:22 She wipes a subconscious tear from her eye.

I don't agree with you Lou that the spankings you got as a child were not harmful or "ok" because you trusted your spanker. For a tiny girl it must have been tramatic, and the trust aspect creates even deeper resentment.

Cool video, I think you make some very good points, I'm about half way through the last Harry Potter right now, to be honest I don't want to finish it (beucase it 's the last and I'll be sad) but if I don't don't finishe it v soon I'll hear the end from someone else!!! which will make me vv sad.I agree spanking in schools is pretty bad, if you were at one of those schools and the Principle was going to spank you would you take it or leave the school or what? Not sure what I would do!

Okay, I see how you can think that spanking is not effective form of punishment but if the student is spanked they would return to class. On the other hand if they did not spank and went with suspension then the student is out of school and they cause trouble on the streets. Also, I do not see how spanking could be seen as sexual harassment.

Although I do believe that spanking should be painful to some degree in order that the child to learn right from wrong from a defient attitude. Spanking has actually been practiced for a much longer period of time in public schools than it has been illigal. Now we have in this gereration more young people who have little respect for authority than ever before. Even 3,000 years ago in the Bible it tells us "Do not spare the rod, for it will drive foolishness far from the heart of a child".
