Wow this is Nina Mae McKinney. This was Billie Holidays first husbands first wife! Jimmy Monroe I saw this movie some years ago and my mother told me she was like the first black movie star in the late 20s a good clip!

This is forgotten history.I saw this movie years ago wwhile i was in film school Nina B.Mckinney was the Halle Berry of her time to bad no one really knows about her.

Hollywood's first black,actress, and sex symbol,she was called the black garbo.She made other films but this was her biggest,later affter this film, she could'nt find much film work,without playing a maid.she moved to london, then later greece,to sing, were she was known has queen of the night life.She died on may 3,1967 in new york.lost and mostly forgotten.
