Amazing song. I do not see why such a christian interperatation was taken, though. this song has a deeply athiest theme. my point of analasis is the line, "shifting shafts of shining weave the fabric of their dreams." this says that natural events, like light breaking through storm clouds (that looks similar to a ladder...) were seen as supernatural, which lead to the creation of religion and beleif in god. also, looking at other rush songs like "faithless" and "freewill", rush is athiest.
