Interesting to see this video on you tube in this day and age. I was 10 years old when it was made, and remember hearing it on AM radio. I bought the record album (yes, a vinyl disc) at a yard sale in the early 70's for 50 cents. Over the years, I've seen this gut wrenching tune captivate listeners of all ages. So much for the "generation gap" so often mentioned in the era... |
