it shows how better our technolagy is now! in 86 they had those computers now we have pc's! (stands for Personal Computer) right now we have the alien ware and the best video cards! the newest games have the good graghics that looks like real life. it shows how fast the technolagy has changed! the computer i am using right now was made by my bro and by my uncle. it was made in 2001! and look i can do tf2 with it and everything still! isn't that awesome!

i have an XT tooMine has a 15Mb drive (although i have a spare 50meg MFM drive) 1mb ram, dos 5.0 color monitor 1300 baud modem ntsc video out (rca jack) i just wish i had the original keyboard... i used to have it, it didnt work cause somebody spilled beer on it, i had THE ENTIRE KEYBOARD laying out organized peice by peice and someone came along and swept it into a garbage can... i was cleaning it and gonna put it back togheteri LOVE the way the lights dim when you fire these bad boys up

MS DOS does not use virtual memory therefore amount of RAM has minimal effect on execution speed.

IF THIS WORKED:If it was like 2 gb ram on this computer, how fast should it boot up? I think like on 10 secs. Or it crash.

Hey, this is kinda funny, because me and my dad were cleaning out our attic and I found the exact same PC with the same monitor as the PC equipment you're showing. Turns out it was my dads old PC from work in the 1980s. Say, it doesn't require loading disks to boot the system up, does it? |
