Good god almighty--Wilson at the ned..His greatest vocal performance, driven by Duane. Interesting one day Duane had a cold and asked Greg to bring some aspirin. soon Duane cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle, and learned how to play slide--Talent is Talent. the greatest.

No slide there, impossible to play those licks. bthoma1 stands correct and not corrected. IMHO some of Duanes most incredible playing is not on the slide. He just happened to be amazing on slide too. The thing about Duane, is that he could bend a note to make it sound like a slide, not an easy task as a guitar player. But he did it.

no he did not, what are you reading? I do have the book you speak of and if "according to you" it says he played slide on that song, tell me what page??

Duane did play slide on this song. He was the one that suggested Wilson do this song. It's at the end where Duane plays his slide, it's in the book "Skydog".

if you would listen its not him playing slide..Gosh why does everyone just think Duane played slide all the time

B.B King is good but just like SRV he also lacks versatility. He doesn't change his style and tone much.Yes, He is the best blues guitarist.
