I thought the movie was pretty boring, but it was worth watching for the images and music. I like a lot of Kubrick's other work too, so it's not (I hope) that I "don't get it", just not my cup of tea.

Always thought Barry Lyndon was Kubricks worst, but it does display a great use of Classical music.

there's a lot, but you can start with nocturne in B flat minor (opus 9) and prelude in d flat (opus 28) "raindrop" those are two of my favorites
