rate please :Dme performing at the micca honors recital. micca (Mass. instrumental chorus and conductors association) is a competition where soloists and school music groups are scored on a standard of exelence. 1 being poor, and 4 being gold medal. our school band got a silver. a few months later the soloist ratings took place. I entered on violin and oboe, and got gold medals on both! i was invited to play at the honors recital on oboe too. the honors recital is a group of the best kids performing. i was the youngest there. (actually there was a clarinetist the same age) the way the kids get picked is that each judge in the compitition picks the kid they thought did the best. so i performed, the acoustics of the hall were awsoem, it sounded really good. enjoy!

overall the performance is good however you should may more attention to the tuning of the notes, mostly the higher notes as they tend to go sharp.also, i would clean up some of your technical passages and include more dynamics, character and color changes to the piece.

our school band just went to micca yesterday and we got a silver medal. we were a point away from a gold. =[
