maybe its full of symbols, but overall the movie sucked, except for the few gory scenes.

That movie was so sad. My friend and i cried at the end when she died. That pale man monster is so scary though but overall it was an Ossum movie!

the movie is full of symbols, labyrinth-choose your own fate. pile of shoes-facism, ofelia-help and mercedes-merciful also lighting to objects in the movie like milk and fire etc. as a whole may suggets if we look at lifes small miracles & not its faults then we will begin to see a better world. del toro explained that he used many symbols in the movie. you could actually watch this movie without the subtitles. the expressions and movement are very strong.
