It's Bernard Sumner (New Order) and as a guest singer Neil Tennant (PSB).However, Electronic (including PSB as guest musicians) were the supporting act for a Depeche Mode gig back in 1990. (So a teeny tiny connection with DM was there, I guess.)

I am a big fan of early and mid 80's music, and though this song came years later, it still had that 80's clear, clean, melodic sound, but it somehow got by me. Fast forward years later to 2005, this song was playing around the time of my father's funeral, and the line, "I love you more than you love me" just seemed so naturally apropos at that time and it now reminds me of him.I wish I could have told him so. :)Great song! |
